PART TWO: THE HUMAN BODY IN GENERAL

Chapter I

THE ORIGIN OF THE HUMAN FORM

1.     That which proceeds from the Lord is in His semblance and thus in the human form. (152)

Divine order when represented in form appears as a man.(153) The Divine truth in its form is a Man.(154) There is a conatus and striving towards the human form because God is Man. (155)
The human is inmostly present within everything of creation, but apart from space. (156)
The human form is from the proceeding Divine which goes forth from every single thing of the Lord's Body, interior and exterior.(157) Everything Divine which proceeds from Jehovah God, from its firsts in heaven to its last in the world, tends to the human form.(158)
2.     The Grand Man of heaven is a medium through which the human body is created and maintained.(159)
As the Lord inflows into the Grand Man like a soul into its body, the Lord gives form to the bodies of men; and this form is but little modified (and only superficially) by angels, spirits and men. (160)
The existence and subsistence of man's body are from the Grand Man. Why this is necessary, expl., SD 4064, 3972, 3148. The first created man was governed more immediately by the Lord. (161)
