Mentics Glossary
WHOLE
Definition
Whole, n.. An idea that links to other ideas.
Comments
An idea can have only one link.
If an idea had two links it would be two ideas.
In mentics virtually all ideas (except threshold idea-dots) are wholes, since each idea has a link.
Base ideas
do not have their links specified, and thus are not identified as wholes.
A type is a whole that has only two parts, and is not referred to as a whole except when its possessive aspect is addressed.
See Table 1, Whole & Parts.
